Now I’m In The Kitchen

Music and sound design for Now I’m In The Kitchen, a tender autobiographical short film directed by Yana Pan that brings life and magic to everyday items of the domestic kitchen.

As traditional utensils and ingredients sway and shimmy before our eyes, time shared in the kitchen emerges as a bridge between the very different worlds of a traditional Chinese mother and her New York-based daughter.
